who we are
founders,
Bonnie & neal
Our Roots:
In the early 90s, Bonnie and Neal turned their passion for horses into a reality by opening their barn to Frank White Stables. Neal’s travels with Frank highlighted the elegance of Tennessee walking horses, marking the start of our story. While the horse show era ended 25 years ago, our devotion to these incredible animals remains. Today, our walking horses enjoy peaceful trail rides, and our older equines find comfort in the Rags to Rescue sanctuary.
From Show Rings to Sanctuary:
Over time, the transition from showing horses to creating a sanctuary took shape. Bonnie’s unwavering commitment to helping people and animals led to expanding our rescue efforts. Starting with mini horses, the sanctuary has grown to include cows, llamas, goats, and more. Each animal has become a part of the diverse and special family at Rags to Rescue..
